Window โšก holds for an uncropped window, or a capture region at the origin. A region anywhere else costs one GPU copy per frame (GpuCopy, not โšก), and only WGC accepts a region at all โ€” the other backends refuse it with Unsupported. Desktop audio is WASAPI-only today; per-process loopback needs Windows 10 2004+.
